Nature and history all around
In front of the hilltop you can admire an imposing totem pole ( a statue of Matthew Spender). The expansive grounds offer you the wonderful opportunity to stroll around and reconnect with nature. Feel the earth beneath your feet as you walk around.

A walk way on the rear side of the house leads to a spacious terrace overlooking the property where you can enjoy a meal together on those warm summer evenings.

Montelodoli is a place where the dreamers amongst us feel at home. The interiors are a fusion of Italian elements and vibrant elegance of the Middle-Est. We collected furniture from flea markets all across Tuscany and from our parents homes. In the main house there are 5 bedrooms (4 of which whit ensuite bathroom), a living room on each floor, a dining room, a kitchen and 2 balconies.

Montelodoli as a shooting location

Our house and the surrounding land to be used as a shooting location for photographers, videographers or any other creative mind in need of a space.
Having worked  for over 15 years in the world of photography we can help with the organization of particular sets and give photography courses on request.
We also offer the possibility of organizing retreats for creatives, as reading, painting, meditation, photography.
Please contact us so that we can talk about your projects together.

Seasonal activities

Every season has something to offer

Summers in Chianti are quiete magical, especially its warm nights full of cicadas singing and falling stars.
But you could come here during the fall and enjoy the wine tours during the “vendemmia” (wine harvest), or go on a truffle hunt, or simply enjoy the colors of the woods and vineyards ranging from yellow to bright red.
Winters can be quite cold, therefore suitable for enjoying a book with a cup of tea, making chestnuts on the stove or learning how to bake one’s own bread in the old wooden oven.
As for spring, you can go for walks in the woods and along the paths of Montelodoli, perhaps learning to recognize wild flowers and herbs.
Or simply indulge in yoga and meditation under the hundred-year-old garden.

It’s a collection of stories.

The place has been decorated by the owners with great attention to detail. Most of the furniture you will find was find at flea markets or in the owners parents house (like the book collection).
